Like I said before, I’m going to try to bike to work at least one day per week over the summer. It’s SO much easier biking in when I know there will be someone else ‘counting’ on me to do it. Joe said Friday worked for him, so that’s the day I picked. That meant getting up at 5 am. so that I could drink coffee and wake up enough so that I wouldn’t ride head-on into traffic. Left the apartment at 6:05 and met up with Joe in S. Chagrin. The weather was much nicer than a few weeks ago and I wasn’t cold at all. Joe was dressed for a blizzard and was wearing a jacket, fleece, and tights! The ride home was a bit tough for me especially since I was trying to hurry since I had plans. I think I should have eaten more because I got a little shaky and I had to make Joe stop and wait for me to down my rice-cake w/ peanut butter. (I sure know how to pack in the calories!) I need to remember to eat more on the days that I bike. (This week we’re shooting for Thursday).
In other news I started my summer class tonight. It should be interesting - it’s a class on strategy. My prof. has his PhD in Economics and his research specializes in why rich people are rich. (He started off studying why poor people are poor, but he said there wasn’t enough money in it - go figure!!!)
And here’s something funny for people who take Spinning classes - http://dealbreaker.com/2008/05/nyc_broker_on_trial_for.php ![]()

Good week. Good on ya’ for pedaling to work, but my ride is only 26 miles total. I’ve been trying to do it a couple of times a week. I’m glad you have a buddy to ride with. Don’t forget to eat before you start out!

swimming = 0.00, hmm well, highland is only $3 starting on the 12th. oh, and if you’re prof wants to know why rich people are rich, he could start with bribes…he could move on to dishonesty…he should then hop right on over to raping the land….how about selling useless junk to the masses ? from there you could go straight to holding shares of halliburton (knowing ahead of time…) i could go on but it’s depressing. good luck in your class !
