Training log for last week
So I made a promise that I would keep track of my workouts…not sure what happened but I didn’t stick with it. Here’s a recap of the past week:
Monday: Rest
Tuesday: Ran 4 miles w/ Bridgette
Wednesday: Swam ~1600 meters
Thursday: 3.5 mile tempo run
Friday: Elliptical and bike (30 min); swam ~1600 meters
Saturday: Rest
Sunday: Ran 8 (pine lane) + 4 on towpath. 12 mi total.
When running yesterday I tripped on a root, fell hard and hurt my shoulder. The trails are seriously dangerous in the winter. I am really looking forward to some spring and summer weather! Pine Lane was so bumpy my ankles were sore after only 8 miles! Thank goodness Bridgette ‘forced’ me to run 4 more. Brian wimped out after only 8. ![]()

Hope your shoulder is OK. I’ve had a few close calls on the trails this winter, mostly because you cannot see the roots, rocks, ice,etc. that are under the snow.

brian wimped out? who is this brian character? he must be a pansy. oh wait, that’s me. yea, i am a pansy but running 8 miles in 2 hours was enough for me. and btw, i think you tripped over your own foot. hope the shoulder is ok
